GPs in Training
Barrington Medical Practice is a training practice for Junior Doctors.
FY2 doctors are in their second-year post qualification and are required to spend 4 months in General Practice as a part of their post qualification experience.
We also train Specialist Trainee doctors (ST1 or ST2) in their second or final year of specialist GP training.
They are qualified doctors, and you can consult with them as you would with any of the other doctors in the practice. FY and ST doctors have full access to your medical notes and they are supervised by one of our regular doctors.
Dr Joe Cornwell is an ST2 Doctor who will or at BMC from August 2022 to February 2023. His GP supervisor is Dr Simona Juverdeanu.
We are confident that you will find the experience with our GP’s in training a positive one, however if you wish to see your usual GP, please let the booking staff know
Medical Students
Medical students are sometimes attached to the practice for 2 – 3 weeks as part of their training. If you do not wish a student to be present during your consultation, please inform the receptionist.
